My name is Michiel. 

My wife and I are raising two kids and we want to teach them how to leave this world a better place. Boxycle is our way of documenting our journey and learn, together with my family, how we can reduce our carbon footprint.

We moved 8 times in the past 7 years. After our last move, I was about to discard piles of cardboard boxes mindlessly into the trash.

I suddenly realized I knew nothing about paper waste and what was actually going to happen with all this cardboard.
